Carboneire was established to capture and convert carbon into commercially usable products. Our focus is a twofold cultivation of hemp and biochar, an organic matter that is carbonized through heating in an oxygen-limited environment and subsequently used as a soil amendment” (International Panel on Climate Change).
Our initial hemp crop of 200 acres will be planted in Ireland in May, 2023.
Our first Biochar production will take place in Q3 of 2023 using food-industry waste, and therefore beginning the elimination of landfill use.
